Civil sevant salaries to be reviewed when the economy improves

President ED Mnangagwa said salaries of civil sevants will be reveiwed when there is an improvement in the economy.

In his speech at the Independence Day celebrations held at Murambinda B High School Manicaland Province he said civil sevant salaries will only be reviewed when there is an improvement in the economy.

The welfare of the civil sevants will continue to be reveiwed in line with economic sustainabilty,''said President ED.

He went on to say that local authorities should pull their socks and deliver quality service.

The call to Action initiative which i launched last year compels all local authorities to refocus torwards a people centred development thrust and quality service delivery.Poor performance from our local authorities is not acceptable our people deserve to enjoy a higher quality of life anchored from grassroots level upwards,''said President ED. The Independence celebrations were held in Manicaland Province under the theme Unity, Peace and Development Torwards Vision 2030, folowing the decision to rotate the commemorations across all provinces.
